THE ELASTOMER IS THE PRIMARY SUBSTANCE AND THE NONMETALLIC CLOTH IS INSERTED FOR STIFFNESS AND/OR TO PREVENT DEFORMATION UNDER STRESS IN ITS PLANE. IT MAY BE PROVIDED FLAT OR IN ROLLS.
